Terms & Conditions

Welcome to RivoCars. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before renting a vehicle. By booking or renting a car from RivoCars, you agree to comply with these terms.

1.Eligibility

  • The minimum age required to rent a vehicle is 21 years.
  • The renter must possess a valid Driving License (DL).

2.Required Documents

At the time of vehicle pickup, the following documents must be submitted:

  • Original Aadhaar Card (for verification)
  • One photocopy of your valid Driving License (DL)

Failure to provide the required documents may result in cancellation of the booking.

3.Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit must be paid before the vehicle is handed over.
  • The deposit will be refunded after the vehicle is returned and inspected.
  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was at the time of pickup.

4.Vehicle Damage

  • The renter is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the rental period.
  • In the event of damage, the security deposit will be retained until the vehicle has been repaired and the repair costs have been assessed.
  • Repair expenses will be deducted from the security deposit, and any remaining balance will be refunded.

5.Fuel Policy

  • Fuel is not included in the rental charges.
  • The vehicle will be provided with the existing fuel level at the time of pickup.
  • The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as it had at pickup.
  • If the fuel level is lower, the customer will be charged for the missing fuel.

6.Delivery & Pickup

  • Home or location-based vehicle delivery is available upon request.
  • Additional delivery and pickup charges apply depending on the delivery location.

7.Customer Responsibility

  • The renter is responsible for the vehicle throughout the rental period.
  • All traffic fines, parking penalties, toll charges, and legal violations incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter.

8.Vehicle Theft

  • In the event of theft or attempted theft of the vehicle during the rental period, the renter must immediately inform RivoCars and the local police, and fully cooperate in the investigation and insurance claim process.
  • Liability for the loss will be determined in accordance with this Agreement, the applicable insurance policy, and the laws in force.
  • If the theft results from the renter's negligence or breach of this Agreement (such as leaving the keys unattended or allowing an unauthorized person to use the vehicle), the renter may be held responsible to the extent permitted by law.

9.Late Return

  • Vehicles must be returned on or before the agreed return date and time.
  • Late returns may attract additional rental charges.

10.Acceptance of Terms

By renting a vehicle from RivoCars, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. RivoCars reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
